Being Mobile Responsive
Why is having a mobile responsive website so important?

52.2% of all website traffic worldwide was generated through mobile phones in 2018.
Over half of your potential customers have their phones right there in their pockets all day, every day. It makes sense for you to be readily and easily accessible to them when they need you.
40% of smartphone users will choose a different site if the first is not mobile-friendly. I can count myself in that 40%. You'll know if you have ever landed on a desktop version of a site on a mobile, it is difficult to read, click buttons and navigate.
Users find therefore that it is much easier to go somewhere where the experience is tailored to their device.
Let's look at an example - you've been advertising and interested customers are trying to find you online. If your site isn't mobile friendly, you risk losing almost half of these to your competition.
It's that important.
Google have introduced mobile-first indexing, as 57% of all Google searches happen from a mobile device. So if a consumer is searching via mobile, those sites which are responsive will appear first. If your site is not responsive your google ranking may suffer. Non-mobile pages have been found to fall 27 spots in Google search rankings. Ouch!
A website that works on desktop, tablet and mobile is a Google best practice! So if you want a chat about getting a mobile responsive website and driving more traffic to your website, get in touch.
