Case Study: Bee You Clothing

Developing a brand for a new clothing business start up.

First things first

At Lollipop Rocks we like to get to know our clients and get a good feel for what they really want to get out of their pay monthly website design. We had a good chat with Kelly about what her ultimate goals were and how she planned to get there.

Let's get started

We were asked to create a logo for the brand which incorporated a bee illustration. No problem we said, and got straight to work on a range of ideas. Once we had a final design selected we used this as a starting point to crack on with the website design.

Website Design

Taking a cue from the logo we began work on the website design, selecting fonts and imagery to compliment the logo. We used the little bee illustration throughout the site to give reinforce the brand message across all pages. We selected an easy going header image portraying a group of friends laughing and having a good time to show the relaxed vibe of the brand.

Image selection

One of the most unique aspects of the Bee You brand is the photography. Kelly made a decision to take all the product shots modelled on herself and her friends. This is an amazing marketing idea, as customers can see how the clothing really looks and how it actually fits. Here at Lollipop Rocks, we loved this idea and got behind it 100%! We took a cue from the product images for the colours throughout the site. We used close up product shots for all the page headers throughout the website.

Shop Integration

We imported the initial products into the shop to set up the design and layout across all devices. We set up the size selections and product information. We set up a weekly discount code for the brand to push on social media. We added product filters to allow customers to search by size or colour - handy!

Training

We gave Kelly a quick training session on how to update her website and manage her stock levels, discounts and promos....and she was off running! The great thing about pay monthly website design is that she knows we are only a phone call away if there's something she's unsure about. We are always here and happy to help!

Launch day!

We launched the Bee You site and Kelly got cracking on her marketing strategy. Kelly's marketing mostly revolves around Facebook Live where she pushes her products, gives talks and offers promotions and discounts. Brilliant!

The benefits of pay monthly websites

Lollipop Rocks is a website design agency which specialises in pay monthly websites, so naturally I could talk about the benefits of this all day. I think it's an amazing idea for small businesses or start up businesses as it reduces your start up fees dramatically. It also gives you continued support and the ability to amend or upgrade your pay monthly website as your business changes and grows.

What's different about pay monthly websites from Lollipop Rocks?

Well we don't charge you anything upfront. It's true, we promise!

We also don't tie you in to any contracts, so you can stay with us for 6 months or 6 years, whatever works for your business.

And also we are really easy going and super friendly. We will always try to help you out with anything you need, and we will never try to sell you anything your business doesn't need.

We just want to give small businesses a helping hand to get up and running
