PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The Village Green is an eco-friendly, plastic free refill store based in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. They wanted to create a brand with a very green, sustainable look and feel.
They asked us here at Lollipop Rocks to design everything from their logo and brand guidelines to their online store.
Brilliant! So where did we start?
We got cracking on a range of logo designs for the brand, focusing on muted, earthy tonal colour palettes to reinforce the eco-friendly values of the business. We created a selection of minimalistic icons to go alongside the logo and use across the website design.

DESIGN PROCESS:
We wanted to keep the website design very organic, keeping the message of ecology and sustainability throughout the website. So we used minimalistic icons and curved lines throughout the website to give an organic feeling whilst browsing through the pages.
To keep the home page fresh and informative we included a 'What's Happening' section which shows the latest blog post from The Village Green, so returning customers have new, fresh information to view every time they visit. Adding an Instagram feed also helps keep the website fresh and is a great way to keep customers engaged with your brand.
The online shop was created with over 200 eco-friendly products for customers to order online and either click and collect or have delivered. The Village Green wanted to keep their website informative and easy to use, so we designed the header navigation in cascading tabs, so customers can easily locate the information they are looking for.
