Curlett Jones Estates are your local friendly property people. They are part of the Southport Community and it is their mission to support the people of Southport through their property transactions.
We at Lollipop Rocks have worked with Curlett Jones since they began their business and we are very proud to have been developing their website as they have grown into the company they are today.
Where it all began...
As always we began with the branding - specifically the logo design. The team at Curlett Jones had some ideas on colour palettes and logo styles they liked, so we ran with that and came up with a range of concepts. Using the final logo design as a starting point, we started the design for the website.

DESIGN PROCESS:
The team at Curlett Jones were keen to push their messaging of being a local estate agent. They took some great photographs of their local area, which we used across the website design.
We kept the two colours from the logo as the two main colours across the website to make it look heavily branded. As these two colours were so contrasting, it worked really well across all pages.
Our font choice was minimal, bold and modern for the headers, and we selected a font which was friendly and easy to read for the body copy.
PROPERTY LISTINGS:
The client needed the ability to update and create new property listings, and have a common theme in the design throughout.
Our aim was to create a way for the client to do this, without requiring them to manually make new pages or use code to get the result they wanted.
To achieve this, we created a template property listing page that automatically populates with data from an online database. The client only needs to complete a simple web form online, including all the information relevant to the property and images, then update the content to show their new listing online.
Further control is added to this online database to allow the client to simply select their featured properties to show on their homepage without having to make changes to the website code.
